Aquamax is probably the best bedding available on the market. I have two horses that share a stable, that’s a constant 24 hr use. Having followed the recommendations on how much to use, I’ve been using 1 bag a week. My mucking out time has decreased drastically. I love the smell, no bitter taste left in your mouth, after mucking out. Any other bedding is a false economy.

Having recently had a major stroke, mucking out became too much of a task with traditional straw bedding. I did alot of research and ordered a pallet after speaking with Ashley whom was most helpful! Courier issue which was resolved by Aquamax. First night of using I was in panic mode as my little Miniature started hoovering them up like there was no tomorrow! Probably thought I had scattered pony nuts all over the floor as similar packaging. So I sprayed with Dettol and he just got the bottom layer to eat. Having removed him I wet again the whole bedding with the hose and this seemed to do the trick. Fast forward to the morning and what a pleasant aroma and easy task to muck out just the manure! My pony leaves a pond of urine and it was not there for me to see or smell this morning. Happy days!
We have been using this bedding for over 10 years and, it is, in our opinion, the best pellet bedding on the market.
If you’ve never tried pellet bedding try this one, we were sceptical, but is the one thing we wouldn’t change in our stable.
A full pallet lasts us about 14 months with topping the bed up once a week after removing wet patch, daily mucking out is a dream.
