Unlike other woods, North American pine contains natural agents which remove the smell of ammonia from urine; works as a natural antiseptic; and produces a light, fluffy bed.

A study into the hygienic nature of various woods, found that only Pine was able to regain its initial hygienic status after germ infestation concluding Pine has clear hygienic advantages compared to other woods.

During manufacture our pine fibre goes through an extensive dust extraction process before pelletising to ensure it is virtually dust free, which is vital to ensure a healthy stable environment and preventing respiratory issues harming your horses.

Our bags are easy to store as they are compact and delivered on pallets with pallet covers, and they are recyclable both in your local collections, or by sending them back to us to recycle on your behalf and come in a manageable 18.1kg bag.  We have recently increased the bag size to reduce our plastic consumption.
